  1. well there is still money in it until quantum computers become ubiquitous
  2. I may be mentally disabled, but at 47 I can safely say to myself, "I Dont know every thing, whats wrong with asking a bunch of people who do know about this one thing?"
  3. Well apart from sitting in front of this computer for 16 hours plus, I have nothing to do except the online university course I am doing in health science, and soon some digital voluntary work. All I really do is same damn thing everyday, course, youtube, whatsapp and similar
  4. I have similar problems, as I have a specialist laptop that requires 2 new USB ports and its doable but not by me I have found a place and they can do a few other thing like fitting 1-2 hard drives and a bracket, thankfully the service manual are open to public, its a Dell Rugged Extreme 7424 with a 4gb gpu and 32gb ram and an NVMe 2tb hard drive, there are better gaming laptops but this one wont break easily as I'm clumbsy but it plays modern games so I'm happy
  5. Well if you need a computer built, repaired, updated I'm your man or I can point in right direction. If you need a stage built with trusses, lighting and cabling and security I can help there to used to be a Roadie
  6. had a look at your website pretty cool Saving BTC for a while longer
  7. I dont discount them I just think I should save and wait, had a look at some of them if there 30 feet and have everything I may be happy but I think I shall wait until I'm sure, again...
  8. Ok, so what are you grabbing in icon used to denote you in profile picture
  9. As BTC went down significantly, I saved my money and thx to you I saved my sanity. Well, thx for the upvote on my decision I had decided a few days ago but was hit with 10 more negative comments, a GRP Project is not for me as a canal boat is a dream and I shall wait and save perhaps I can make a better find and when I do I will ask all of you.... is there anyway I can set this thread as solved, please?
  10. Your not putting me off, I aske for all of you to be honest and tell me what you think and based on everything I have heard I am not buying the boat, I didn't wanna get screwed purchasing hence the reason I came here, I'm not saying you are experts but most or all of you have experience and I dont. I appreciate your help in showing me the correct decision, and thank you for your help.... Ok, thank you all again, I wish I wasn't an idiot but thankfully you helped me not follow through on my idiocy. I hope in the future you can help me again....
  11. well this is what was needed for the lowest amount before I knew you can charge from engine 2 x 12V 200Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery w/ Bluetooth = £1,759.98 3 x 200 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Panel = £539.97 1 x Rover Li 60 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller = £227.99 1 x 3000W 12V to 230V/240V Pure Sine Wave Inverter With English Standard Socket (with UPS Function) = £299.99
  12. I had no plans running a laptop while moving, I know 4-6 miles isn't fast but trust me I need to give it my full attention and I have found lithium batteries that may be usable and stackable too
  13. thx to all of you I may have saved 1000s as an outboard engine that can power batteries is better and meets my needs a due to dietary requirements all I need is a portable freezer and a mini oven or a gas hob, and I'm sorted for using laptop and tablet or charging phone... no, I have a severe learning disability and wasted 5 years of my life learning, shockingly University is easier the 3rd time round.... I will be incognito till I get back and thanks to all of you for your help well 25 more minutes
