  3. not for this programme, but I had the same message a few days ago. I eventually, somehow came across a message saying that the BBC app people were aware of the problem and hoped to get it fixed ASAP. They did and it's been fine since. It's something to do with isp's?
  4. Yes there is. I think it's been mentioned! Martyn
  5. Hi Inger. If you don't need to go to Oxford you could hire from Oxfordshire Narrowboats and travel northwards. They have nice looking boats that are turned out in a good clean condition. Martyn
  6. Yes, we were offered eggs often, but also asked occasionally. They were/are free range eggs, sadly not free. Martyn

  9. I have no words for you Andy that will help other than my thoughts are with you. Martyn

  13. In general though, was the machine a good one? Worth the money? Martyn
  14. Not sure about that. Depends what's gone wrong. But I see what you mean. Martyn
  15. Get a new one then. Glad I asked! The tiles,as you say should be easy. Replacing one for one, near enough, will be reasonably straightforward for a competent chap or lass. Martyn
  16. Hello. I need a variation of one of the above to talk through a couple of ideas I have for improving the storage inside Nightwatch. The woodwork is tired and dated, not the main bulkheads and deck heads, but shelving and cupboard fronts and the like. In the saloon I want to replace the existing corner cupboard with a return running aft for a metre or so. A wardrobe fitting. Bulkhead cupboard in the galley. And a storage unit 2 metres long running under the gunwales with small drawers or doors. Not very deep. Am willing to pay the going rate, of course, and can help (get in the way) if needs be. I'm really good at holding stuff. Labouring. Anyone know of anyone in the Banbury Area? Just to discuss at this stage with a distinct possibility of doing the job for me. Taa muchly. Martyn.
  17. Stick, wrong end of! Thought you were moving your stove. Interesting replies though. How is your fire trying to kill you? Is there a fault? Is it repairable? Mattys name comes up quite frequently. Seems he's on the ball. Martyn
  18. Good question. We have thought more than once, that our fire is in the wrong place. I await some answers to your question. Martyn
  19. if I may say, not to everyone's taste, but your boat is absolutely gorgeous. Where did you get all that lovely wood from? Some lovely lamps and other fittings. Wash basin and surround, well all of it. Not surprised you love your boat. Martyn
