Canalworlds pretty good. Gnosall has a Bus that goes from outside the Navvy to Stafford and Telford, nearest decent shopping is Newport about 10mins by bus, Stafford is about 20 mins, buses go every half hour

Can't see your boat you must be down by the tunnel. If you need shopping the bakery is the better of the local shop. Over the bridge by the boat pub straight down the road past the parade of shops and a bit further on the left side of the road or walk up to bridge 35 and get the bus into Newport ( stops next to waitrose)

Sat at the bar with Steve the landlord of the Navvy sorting out beer orders for Easter Definates are Adnams broadside. Hook nortons old hooky. Banks Sunbeam. Banks best & Banks mild Plus Angies newky brown. I think this seems a reasonable assortment

We moored there for a few years. Its a nice marina close to mainline station into London and Cambridge. Pub next door is OK'ish. The moorings dont come up too often and the people are friendly

If your recorded by C&RT as being on one mooring on day 1 then leave that place and cruise for a few weeks to a month without being recorded again. On returning to mooring of day 1. Did You move ???????

For your information. As the moorings in Gnosall are mainly 48hrs we have sent an email to the local enforcement officer to let her know that we are having this gathering and that boats will probably be staying more than 2 days. We have invited her as well so if she does turn up buy her a drink :cheers: Moorings for those that dont know are between bridges 33 to 36. the Navvy is by bridge 35 as is the water point. Satelitte Tv is above bridge 35

Waitrose in Newport have a reasonable selection If you need a lift to get your car mines already at gnosall

Mmmm malt whisky. will get a bottle ready by easter and some butterscotch schnapps for Jan.
