I don’t see how it would be a hazard going under a bridge as you don’t really do significant turns. Maybe if unattended in a lock it may be an issue and may need removing ?????

A friend was asked to turn a longer than normal tiller handle for a boater who has a square back cruiser stern, as it’s difficult to reach the throttle when doing certain manoeuvres. I found this is quite a common problem on cruiser sterns. Below is the finished longer handle attached to tiller bar. I would like to ask members with Cruiser sterns for their opinions on this and do you think there would be a market for them. Thank you.

Hi, please can you confirm what you mean by weed cutters, or maybe what your using them for. As you mentioned hire which indicates maybe larger stuff than a pair of hand trimmers and putting it in this Thread I thought you may be after a larger commercial water weed cutting machine??

As I said there’s enough pre mixed non-slip paints on the market that do the job, unless you want a heavy gritted roof that rips your skin off when you touch it. The heavy thing’s a wind up, go and put a couple of bags of coal on your roof and see if it makes your boat top heavy😂 he probably ment too heavy with regards to texture??

The too heavy thing’s a joke(should of added that comment this morning) as the ones I’ve seen done by owners tend to be too thick and uneven and eventually going more like concrete when trying to remove. Why mix sand and go through trying to get it the right consistency when you can buy products that work straight from the tin🤔

I imagine most on here will have Thetford or similar type or if they wanted something non boat/LPG ready they’ve changed the Jets for LPG, Being as you work with gas, any experience with Jet conversion if so would you say it’s easy to do a LPG jet change Oven/Grill?

How many bespoke new builds have you seen with an inbuilt air fryer instead of an Oven & Grill? Read what the OP asking about, nothing to do with an air fryer. I take it when you got your kitchen redone, you took out your oven/grill and replaced them with an air fryer then? Absolutely daft. Not much out there apart from what he put on. Only other option may be fitting LPG jets to a natural gas oven/grill, but you would have to ask yourself is it worth it??

Diesel getting harder to get on the Canal in Yorkshire, so you have to fill up when you can and maybe get some cans at the same time.
