when banks call me, and I reply saying I cant go through verification process, they advice me to call them on their standard customer care number. I think its a catch-22 situation, they cant give you info without knowing your identity even though they called your number.

good to know, thanks for sharing. I have got call from nhs asking about my details first before proceeding, and I knew it was probably genuine as I had an appointment next day, still I hate the fact that I need to give my personal details to a stranger for identity verification when I was not the one making the call.

I got a call from 'uk govt' telling me that I am debt free, I asked them not to call me again.... not sure what it was about... but am sure not debt free.

the place around wigan dry dock is fine, there are offices and apartments on canal side. It looks pretty safe, always some boats moored up.

I have used puregym so I can say its pretty good. You can download an app which tells you how busy the gym is. You get a code to get in. I have seen 'the gym' from outside and judging from the website they seem comparable. the other two dont seem to be as good.

puregym has a big network, they dont need any contract and are 24 hr. Costs around £26 for multiple gym access.

cool, just started watching, the guy(jono?) sounds knackered for some reason... they are all pretty good 'cruisingthecut' is by a guy who was a local tv journalist, his videos are pretty calming, everything slow and gentle and very informative. another one I watched a bit is jimmy (freedom and survival) who lives on GRP, not many views but like his rants about various stuff

Hi, am john. new to boating and found this lovely forum. Dreaming of owning a boat one day but currently binge watching youtube videos of canal boaters, 'cruisingthecut' is my favorite by far.
