  1. In my experience Calcutt Boats know exactly what part goes where on the BMC engines. That would be my first port of call if I wanted to buy a new one. Robert
  2. Even with electric cars there is still pollution. They are generally heavier so the rubber/brakes/tarmac dust is generated faster than for petrol/diesel cars where already half the particulate output from car is from rubber/brakes/tarmac (not from the engine). https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/aug/04/fewer-cars-not-electric-cars-beat-air-pollution-says-top-uk-adviser-prof-frank-kelly
  3. If you fit those specially made 'rubber shoes' that thread over the wires and cover the terminals then that should satisfy the requirement I believe. You can have a lid as well of course.
  4. But you'd do that with the boat out of the water yes? I know people do it with the boat in the water, after packing in a lot of grease, but I'd never dare. BTW, I'm new here so, 'hello everyone'. Robert
