    Not sure if this is answerable, but if i had 1000W of solar (4 x 250w) made up of 4 panels lying flat what would be the most i could realistically expect from it? im looking at controllers (Victron), but there is a huge difference in price so thought if i can find out real world figures, or roughly real world, then i might not need the larger one....... hope that makes sense? thanks! rob

    My cat once bought home a duckling - not a mark on it. i popped it into the bath and called the RSPB (no reply) and RSPCA, who just ranted at me about against the law to take wild fowl from ... the wild... I told them my cat didn't know that but i would make sure he's aware..... he must be very bright as he's not done it again!

    not sure how good these cope with Video Conferencing? any lag will be very noticeable....

    It just Quality of service, where it matters about transmit speeds etc. Some rural locations can have very fast access... its all on where the masts are... might need to go to your providers website and look at their coverage map and add that into your cruising plan!

    Its difficult to get the QoS needed for VC on the cut - very much depends on the providers mast location etc. Many people use the poynting aerials, but at the end of the day it depends on the very best signal to allow QoS... you may have to be quite choosy where you moor!
