Sadly your protest which I agree with will amount to little.I share your frustration
and concur with your view of the relevance .
Rest assured you will see enough apologists who can see no issue with either the
Election or the Candidature rushing to take part, full of their own importance and
convinced of the importance of their participation
Isn't that the major fault with CRT Alan? That too many decisions are made by people with little knowledge
of the situation on the ground. Its the CRT that want to make it hard for boats to tie up anywhere not just Stoke
Bruerne
Theres just no rhyme or reason to it.Last week Grafton Regis in the
middle of the country,a lovely spot, some say locals and others fellow
boaters.I just end up challenging every stranger I see.I have few friends.
Sometimes we just don't help ourselves
Maybe it is an enforcement issue if its been there for months, you would certainly think
that they would be aware of it
Sorry I am at cross purposes with you here,I was talking Roving Winter Permit.I was aware
of the trial.I couldn't believe that these proposals were even considered as being fair, which
I guess they probably weren't.More the quick fix option.I guess you have spoken of this many
times, what in your opinion was the reason for the ending of the roving winter permit and how
does the present arrangement differ in legality from what came before in the two previous years
Nigel can I ask you if you have any more information regarding your first paragraph. Are you saying this is the reason Roving
Permits were stopped?because they weren't available to all?
I was under the same impression as Alan Fincher states in his post.Have CRT actually stated what you are saying?
I am trying to think who were excluded, people subject to enforcement only I guess.
It was never I feel explained to anyone why it was illegal.Plenty have offered opinion
regarding planning law etc etc.Parry bought a few posters on here with his borderline
legality nudge nudge wink wink spiel.Another Spiv on his way to the Honours List I fear.
A bit late I know and please excuse me if its already out there,
but two boats broken into last weekend in this area, one lost their
generator the other one stripped inside. Please be aware
Your attempting to bully me,but we both know you don't have the bottle.
None of my posts have condemned anyone I am quite happy to throw that
over to the rest of the forum for their consideration.Whats fairer than that?
In truth as the thread never was about condemning anyone and none of my posts have,
I didn't give much thought to the use of the word littering,it never ceases to amaze how
people evidently can't read whats in front of them
Remember Cameron and the "Hug a Hoodie"campaign?
perhaps some of us want to "Hug a Continuous Cruiser"
We could crowd fund it to cover the diesel costs as we all
make our way up and down the far reaches of the system
looking for Tsinca
Empty boats littering the cut?its a thread title nothing to do with
compliance,I am not complaining about the littering aspect, just
asking is it economics that has caused the increase or other factors
Utter rubbish,I asked for comment on why you seem to see more of them nowadays
than in the past.I then wondered if it was down to marina fees or such like.Maybe you should read
the thread
It gets a bit divisive at times Martin, for some people continuous cruiser equals continuous moorer and it gets a bit much after a while
thats all
I work so like many others in that position,I try and stay compliant.
A few Romanians have approached me about renting the boat so
I may go that route
Your simply saying to the poster "put your money where your mouth is"
Tsinca has said that anti continuous cruiser sentiment is being expressed
on this forum, that is his view he is entitled to it.You only have to read back
to Enforcement in Milton Keynes and you will find it.Indeed its not rocket science.
