  2. now now be polite theirs no need to be rude.
  3. What about Sailor ? hello Sailor haha.
  4. I dont see why a boat not being sighted should be an issue, surely all the Op's son needs to do is call the Crt by phone and have a quick chat, nothing more. Mole Hill and Mountain come to mind.
  5. Their is always somebody on the fiddle these days I hope my Boat does'nt get cloned.
  6. hey pm me I will let you into a little secret its not hard at all.

Mare'rrrrrrrrrr that was a good one.
  8. I was genuinely thinking about applying for a job with the C&RT as a boat data logger. I guess it could be a dangerous job choice and some people may have mixed views.
  9. Which one ? A GPS box can be altered to give a reading every hour 24/7=720hours of Gpsr on a 30 day month.
  10. haha yes but you would have to have a bottle of fresh milk in the photo clearly displaying the use by date also. PS, if someone types but you could swop the lables i will log off and call it a night. Its redirious this forum.
  11. Maybe I could find a compremize to a Leasure and Crt protection Vessel. kinda like a LPV - leasure protection vessel.
  12. Worth every penny that is stunning and to my taste, I like it a lot.
  13. Yer i see your point, you may have to downsize to a smaller engine and remove that monster of a Merlin V12 you hide under your stern, its a beast. I get what you mean though, the worlds gone all potty with rules. I might buy a jet ski instead of a Narrowboat thats what i am thinking tonight.
  14. That was not a very freindly post to the OP, infact a little unrespectable in my opinion considering you dont know the full details or their situation. People have life issues and health issues its not for us to judge why or what. Very Rude and i dont mind saying so.
  15. I might ask the local farmer if i can moor up in his duck pond. I guess we should all weigh our boats in a burn our kitchen units for the last few weeks left. this really cheered me up
  16. Has anyone looked into profesional boat tracker's which are insurance approved, i am sure they exists and would presumibly be data tagged to the boat.
  17. Maybe they should take £50bob or add £50bob to the licence feas and get off everyone's back and they will know exactly who's is taking the mickey and save so much money from tracing proposed misbehaving boat owner's and instead spend it on the Canal and River Maintainance for us all to enjoy the reward of donation's/licence feese payed. Could tracking devices be secuirty stickered/chipped and approved by CRT, now their is your data tagging to a boat.
  18. But they record hourly data Paul listing longitude and latitude, i cant see someone on a push bike cycling all night every hour. You can download a months SD card data onto a hard drive and keep if for them crt fun letters if they arrived.
  19. I agree totally mark99, may thats all that is needed and i hope so for his mum the op.
  20. They seem to be taken quite seriously in motor vehicle's and ive spoken to a lot of insurance inspector's in my time. They can be monitored also for a minimal subscription to a legally recognised agency. I say £50 better with than without and leave it up to the court's, i guess their will be egg on someone's face.
  21. I hope you get it all sorted out for both you and your son. Their is nothing wrong with a Tracker Device i have just been looking again on Amazon, their are quite a few of them. They are also very handy if yout boat gets stolen because they give you a location of the boat. you can pm if you like anytime. all the best.
