to Richard i do believe this is shagnastied lol and do you think the forward cone is still ok?

yep LM150 and the engine oils no where near the reduction box got to get through the gear box and past the flywheel to get in with the engine oil

had a couple of long days on her this week, finally after a lot of hard work ,and brain strain trying to get the fiberglass sections to seal properly, at the same time fit to the hull we have done it, all sealed up and water tight, well apart from the bow and rear bulkheads. we have tried to help the joint by adding the bar to the out side as the bolts were in contact with the fiberglass? so no wavy line now down the gunwhales. dont let anyone say this is an easy fix it isnt, i also found a split in the hull floor in the engine bilge as she has been completely over plated in the last couple of years (still cant find out when?) there was another tiny split in front off bulkhead allowing water to get between the skins and surface under the cabin, tilted her up, drained all the water welded a plate over both splits and sorted ? not easy this boat tidying up thing is it just about got the foundations done now for the build !!!!!! a couple of other pics bit of a tidy up aswell

my thoughts aswell looks early 70's to me?

i am planning on moving about loads aswell not want to stay in the same place all the time cant see the point in having it and not useing the thing

was thinking of a single drive with a 90 on it to charge 1x starter and perhaps 3/4 leisure batts?

and it has a sr3 in her well in the workshop at home built in 74

did it look like this we have just done this to it now last section to be bolted up tomoz

Hi all could some one tell me how big an alternator i can sensibly put on my sr3 it has the 300mm large drive flywheel on it ? many thanks Gary

just to go back about the hull, for my sins i have the pesky video and the man doing the work on the hull rekons he put over 250 hrs into it???? that alan herd liked his cans of expanding foam

hi dont want to appear stupid but can you use any grease for the gland or can any body recomend one i have high melting point and general ?

im hiring a boat out of odium mike. ive looked at the canal center. theres now pump out there and at odium and new moorings thought it would do for starters when mines finished as a base to cc from out and up the wey and out . only got the boat for 3 days probly wont be able to do the deepcut locks but it gets me back on the water for a bit and get some ideas for mine before i get to far into it lol
