And if I may, one more example........coal tar soap.!!!! For generations folks on this fair isle have been washing their bodies and clothes with genuine Coal Tar soap. The EU without consultation banned the sale and use of CTS. Wrights the producers of CTS have to perfume their product with coal tar essence..!??? Best we leave before they ban leather shoe laces... Merry Christmas ???

Having done those also, I think the Savick Brook turn IN, to be the most difficult, not impossible, not dangerous but one requiring your full attention. Remember, dozens of boats do it year in year out without incident, just pay attention and you will be fine. Providing. You don't cut the corner at the Astland Perch and go over the training wall on the inside (both going and leaving) IIts a doddle. Merry Christmas ???

Oh, I'm on a roll...... Don't cut the corner going into Savick Brook, remember you will most likely be on a falling tide, any grounding could leave you, high and dry... Its happened. !!!

Having made this trip several times, the only advice I can give is.......Don't miss time the turn into Savick Brook.... When your near there you will understand why..?

If your at all handy and comfortable using fibreglass and resin, may I suggest that you cover the floor and up 6 inch of the bathroom walls with a coat of fibreglass before you install any equipment. This will ensure a sealed bathroom requiring only a floor drain and window vent. Not wood rot or blemishes and a sweet smelling location. ??
