thanks for that if i do ever use it again i would get it serviced ,but the guy who did it one time as stopped doing them a mr cudmoore or some thing like that ,also i dont think there are many people who do service the alde comfort .the last time i did have it done was by some one from anglo welsh and that seemed a waste of money to be honest with you

i have a refleks diesel fire only ,which is very good and my alde is all in place but it never gets used.i was thinking when i dont want to use the reflek ,i could switch over to lpg gas .but my alde is old and could do with a good and proper service ,or replaced by some thing more modern

hi every one ,at the moment i have the alde comfort in my 55 foot boat ,i was thinking abt upgrading ,i would like to leave the two rads in place and get some thing a bit more up to date to run them .is there anything out there what would be fit for purpose,thanks

hi crosser have a look at rust bullet bit expensive but great stuff i painted engine bay and gas locker protects the steel also ..

so there are youngsters on the cut .i must have missed them ,the only ones i ever meet are boring old farts joke ,but saying that. 4 maybe 5 years ago we meet a loverly couple with two very polite well dressed children ,they had this boating life sorted ,she was a vet he self taught the kids ,she would get different contracts as a vet but would not stay any were more then 3 months ,they said it works fine for them and they loved it .what abt when the kids get older i asked ,oh we will cross that bridge when we come to it .i very often wonder and think how its going for them ,then a couple of weeks later ,yes we met several.old farts .but thats another story or storys , lol stay safe

i have used things for sale many times on here and had some great bargains and some not so good .i have even got rid of stuff i thought would be usefull to others ,but when i do try and add some thing to a tread .i am pulled up abt my spelling full stops my grammer which as turned in to insults even .not every one can compose replys like most on here .well i can not for one .,and no i am not looking for..oh aint that a shame you can shove that .canal world as been very helpful to me and many others ,when i do read stuff on here and i think i should reply to it, but i dont .threads start of all good but soon slide down hill in time that as allways been the case. oh while im here some boater went by two days ago and they where very great .full of the two tons of logs i gave them .so they have gone ,while we were chatting i asked them if they used this place .there reply never ever dreadful place any way stay safe
