Hello Are there any private online moorings in Worcestershire/Staffs/Warks who are ok with liveaboards? We have a 62 ft boat and need to move from our present mooring in northants for work. We are happy to go on a waiting list anywhere. Thanks for your help.

I have a victron multiplus 3000/120. The problem i have is when i connect to the 16amp shore power. No matter what i set the amps to if if the victron set to on position the rcd on the shoreline bollard trips. If i switch to charger only it accepts the shoreline and then cycles through bulk,absorption then float. We liveaboard so most of the time we are on shorepower. The problem arises if there is a power cut (which happened today) we then have to manually switch to inverter. The bollard has been checked and is ok. Any ideas what is causing shoreline to trip?.

I agree I think to a large degree the boating community has a lot of cooperation. Its what to do with the selfish few.

Is this not the case that the legislation covering the the use of the canal system is now not fit for purpose for the 21st century. The canals were a different entity in 1962. Do we need new legislation which defines canals its use, the role of CRT and its powers.

If a boat has been registered with Thames only licencing but not C&RT will the boat be the first to register with C&RT. What happens if you visit the Thames.

What are the rules if any regarding the name and the name number of a boat. I know on canals there are no exceptions as to how many boats with the same name. Is it just the Thames where each boat must be unique. If you do have a number how do you know whether you are the first with that name or the thirty first.
