I've never had an air filter on my BMC 1.5 , the inlet manifold does point downwards so nothing can drops in it . Nasty surprise awaits any spiders that might crawl in .

I just searched SPZ 940 on ebay and there are loads of belts listed . The dimensions are also given so you can double check they are the same as your belt .

The part number on my fan belt is SPZ 940 3V 370 I made a note that it was TBA belting from a company called EW Bearings . It was years ago that I purchased it so no idea if EW Bearings are still trading . I suspect those numbers will mean something to companies that supply belts and bearings etc.

Does a pump out or cassette affect the squat in any way ? I seem to remember from my school days that the heat of the beat is equal to the throb of the knob when the angle of the dangle is constant . Thought I'd just throw that in.

I think some members of this forum are still experiencing the effects of the 'acid' .

If you tell us what you are looking for in a boat and how much you want to pay there will be many helpful members that will suggest various boats listed for sale . Pump out toilet or cassette will generate opinions from both camps but the more details you list the more helpful it will be . I bought my boat 30 years ago and there was no Forum such as this for advice . What a pity the surveyor wasn't more specific about where the oil and water leaks were . As has already been pointed out it could cost very little to fix tighten a hose clip and replace a gasket for example . On the other hand worn piston rings , cracked head / block will be an expensive fix.

Surely you should tell the truth in any job interview or am I being old fashioned ? Best of luck with the interview .

Just read on the Cambs Times website that a blue and white Mayland cruiser named Alner Elver has been reported stolen from the River Nene at March . Theft was between 4 pm on 22 nd Jan and 8-40 am 25th Jan .

Both although the inside of my baseplate is covered in concrete slabs so won't be repainted for many years . I'm beginning to think painting the base plate is almost as controversial as cassette or pump out.
