This area, being cool, is a good place to keep beer and fresh food so the opportunity was taken to add a coat of paint so it will be easy to clean.
It's a shame to waste any storage opportunity on a boat.
Below the bed at the fore end of the calorifier a couple of cubic feet of dead space existed. This is accessible from the wardrobe so a shoe storage rack was built here.

The flue for the back cabin range has been installed in accordance with the latest stove installation rules.
This means that rather than carry the load of the flue on the range smoke box it is "hung" from the roof collar. To account for thermal movement a 3mm gap to the smoke box is created at the bottom.
the top and bottom of theflue are then sealed with high temp flexible sealant.
This is really for diabetics, or people that know someone who is.

Boat work has stopped for a while and been replaced with chalet work. My brother's chalet roof has always been a bit leaky and the pitch is rather low (flat in places!).
Made a new roof frame with an increased pitch and fitted tile effect steel sheeting. We also moved the stove so the flue exits out the front wall rather than through the new roof. This means we don't have to worry about how to stop the flue leaking and the stove now sits opposite the settee, which is better.
The calorifier is sited under the bed.
The pipework under here looks quite "busy" but it is all reasonably accessible and logical.
Of interest in this photo are:
- Valves either side of the Bolin C/H circulation pump to isolate it. Therefore the system does not need draining down should the pump need to come out.
I also envisage, when the calorifier is hot, and C/H boiler not in use, using one of these valves to avoid natural convection occuring which would effectively use the boiler
The water supply pipe to the Dometic cassette toilet was fitted with an extra, small 1/4 turn shut off valve and the toilet fitted and connected to the water and 12V power suply.
The toilet has an electric valve (12V)to control the flush water (similar to a washing machine). I included the manual shut off valve to give a convenient means of isolating the toilet if the electric valve should ever give trouble.

The washbasin which has been sitting in position for a few weeks has now been plumbed in.
As described earlier Hep20 push fit piping has been widely used, usually without problem but here a weep occurred on the cold feed, on the T coupling leading to the short section of pipe, before it rises up in the corner.
After replacement of the short pipe section and T coupling it still leaked.
I then replaced the short pipe with a piece of copper pipe which successfully cured the leak.
