I use to move sirius (a 70ft butty)with a 10hp johnson outboard attached to the rudder it worked realy, you had to allow a little longer for stopping as the weight to power was not ideal. mike

so what is the point of HISTORY? how old is your boat? if its older than 5years why not scrap it to avoid it rusting in the canal.

it also seems to be the same story with ELECTRA that seems to have been left sunk

iam realy not shore how to go about inserting pictures on this site which is a shame as i have a number of pictures of ELECTRA a lot taken with the butty SIRIUS when i had them as a pair.

please could someone tell me how you go about sending in pictures

your on the right track carl, its just i have alot on at the moment which is another reason that i had to let the boats go, and as you know thay need a lot of your time. yes iam always interested in whats happening the boats or any other wooden boats
