MPPT controller

Our Tracer MPPT controller seems like a solid unit and has worked faultlessly for four years now -- drawing from 2x 100w panels -- with constant useful read-out from the remote MeTer meter.

Got ours from Bimble too: http://www.bimblesolar.com/offgrid/mppt

Panels are pretty inexpensive these days, at £1/watt or even cheaper. Do you PLAN to be a large electricity user ... or PLAN to keep things simple and basic. I think the lifestyle choice is the first big decision. Governed by the size of your cabin roof, of course!
