Antislip roof paint and polish?

We have (OK John has) just repainted the roof in cream international paint with antislip additive. He wants to know - should he put polish on it to protect it? Obviously it wont polish up (would counteract the antislip-ness if it tried) but is it best to use polish to seal the paint and maybe keep it from getting as grubby, or just leave it as is?

 

Thoughts from the panel please...?

IMHO polish would not effect the non-slip but would provide a fair degree of dirt repellent and make cleaning easier.

DQ has a cream roof. When I first got her I polished the smooth areas of the roof but not the sanded areas. I lived to regret it, because on bright sunny days the reflected glare was horrendous.

 

I now clean the roof with Aldi caravan cleaner, as recommended by MJG. It cleans sanded and non-sanded areas but doesn't leave a high gloss shine.
