welding & anodes

hi all, i have been wondering what will happen when my anodes on my nb need replacing, the reason i`m thinking about it is the fact that i have spray foam insulation and welding the steel that is foamed will be a bit of a no no, can anyone tell me of there experience dealing with this, many thanks,

If you have 6mm plating it shouldn't be a problem. I've recently had new anodes and the rear ones on the swim haven't even discoloured the paint on the inside.

I assume the spray foam is where the cabin is (i.e. the center part of the boat) and not near the bows (water tank?) or the rear (skin cooling tank), just put the anodes there. Just done mine and no problem at all.

My front anodes had some sprayfoam behind and were welded without problems.
