Tall and Wanting to Liveafloat - Part 2

Hi there again,

 

well since my last post and many positive replies from similarly tall people with enough headroom, I have been looking at a few narrowboats. But nothing so far! Whilton Marina for instance reckons it doesn't have any boats over 6ft4".

 

Where do I find these mythical narrowboats of 7ft? even 6ft8" would do. Is getting one built from scratch the only way?

They should give you near 6'8" or above but you could get more on one built to your needs.

Liverpool Boats (New Boat Co) tend to have a very curved roof - therefore more headroom.

An ex-workboat with an undertarp conversion has 7' of headroom.
