Aaaaah I was on an Android device so I didn't see it was an iPad on the screenshot - basically, Ctrl-F5 is a refresh which forces reload of all the page's content, rather than just the base page. Certain devices, of which the iPad is one; and certain ISPs at busy times of the day; cache a bit too much and because our forum software sends so much stuff, can lead to corrupt pages.

 

Anyway...glad you sorted it!
