Bullfrog
"Spotted on e-bay by Heather. Not weird materials, just a deeply weird boat. The seller says: What we have here is the remains of a “Super Raft”, designed for use with standard 25 litre steel drums and including hull sections, deck sections, seats and foot rests. Apparently used on the River Severn for some years. Mmmm. Ideal for the Oxford canal, then." You can see "super rafts" like these on the GU around Bulbourne junction any weekend, they store them in the back garden of the Grand Junction Arms. Last season we went down the Wendover Arm and 15-20 of them were pursuit racing coming the other way. All we could do was pull over and wait for them all to pass. They are very quick so it didn't take too long! Regards David
