jenevers
I' d be glad if someone could tell me what these numbers mean (one number above each lever on my 4LW fuel pump. -10,-8,-10,-14 . Also, there's the letter "K" in the bottom right corner. Edited April 27, 2015 by jenevers
Timleech
Are they on the actual pump ('pump top') or the cambox? I can only guess that they relate to the tappet settings, the amount to be set below a datum rather than using the special shim on each tappet in turn. The 'K' might relate to the settings being for the 'K' type sprayer. Older engines did use a different tappet setting, I've never seen an explanation but the change could well have been connected with the introduction of the K sprayer.
