Personal messages appear to have stopped again, the last one was yesterday (Sunday) at 1030.

 

http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=5.77.47.171 (a link I used back in January) produces the result

 

"IP Address 5.77.47.171 is listed in the CBL. It appears to be infected with a spam sending trojan, proxy or some other form of botnet.

It was last detected at 2015-03-29 09:00 GMT (+/- 30 minutes), approximately 22 hours ago."

There is then quite a lot of techy Linux stuff that I do not understand,

I have not clicked the link to delist this IP address.

So, I delisted the IP address quoted (which belongs to server.canalworld.net).

 

Email notifications worked again for a few hours, but the address has been blacklisted by spamhaus again, and email notifications have stopped (I use ukservers.net for my mailbox).

It says "Perhaps the person who previously removed it didn't actually fix the problem." which I suspect is correct...
