Whoops gloss paint on stove

Hi,

What a melon. Absent mindedly started painting the stove with what I thought was my tin of high temp black paint then realised was using almost identical looking tin of black gloss...

Is paint stripper the best way forward or could it be burnt off with the fire at low heat?

It will burn off the stove but you don't want to around while it does it (and it will take ages and even longer for the smell to go) my advice would be to strip it

edit to add don't ask!!!

And if you're gonna paint it again after a wire brush might help too with the nitro.

As John V said. It will burn of fine. But maaaaan does it smell. And I'm talking from experience from a outside chimenea. If your talking about inside a boat......a most certain no no.
