Hello All i've a whalemaster water pump and was wondering is it necessary to fit the filter on it ? if i do this it's going to be awkward to fit and i would have to fit a elbow bend in .

Doesnt need to be attached to pump u could maybe fit it further upstream.

Would it also be possible to fit the pump in the Bow instead of near the stern ?

If this pump is for water to your taps then it is best fitted as near to the water tank as possible.

 

Pumps, pump, they do not suck very well.

 

An in-line filter would be the easiest to fit and should be between the tank and the pump.

Thanks that would be easier to fit, so i'll put it near the tank, it's just now do i have to increase the power cable size for the pump.

Possibly, the volt drop will need to be calculated for the cable run.
