Name that Boat

Hello All

 

There was a semi-trad on show at the Burton IWA Festival last year that had

a stern gas locker and an integral water tank. Anyone remember it's name or who the builder was?

Don't know which builder that would be but Sabre Narrowboats used to build on Piper shells and they always had a stern gas locker, also I think Liverpool boats sometimes have had them on their semi trads.

The only builder I can think of who fits your description is Liverpool Boats, there are of course a dozen or so 'fitters out' who use their shells. Have you trawled through the adds in Waterways World.

I dont think it would have been a liverpool boat as they did not go to Burton cancelling at the last minute because of the bad weather and state of the field for static display. Well thats what they said on their website at the time and it prompted me not to attend as I wanted to see their boats again.

Although Liverpool Boats did not exhibit in their own right, it is quite likely that one of the fitters out was there under there own name.
