Victor Vectis
Pump out places are few and far between on the northern BCN so it was with relief (and a full tank) that we pulled into Ocker Hill last Friday. But ,shock! horror!! instead of the usual locked metal doors on the little hut there was a sheet of plywood. Oh dear, or words to that effect, we thought, its out of order. Fortunately there was a CaRT chap in the yard. "Oh, its working" he said "You have to unscrew the cover. We've had a lot of trouble with it" (vandalism?) "but things have been fine since we put that sheet of wood over it." So, as well as every thing else needed for a DIY pump out, CaRT style, you will need a large(ish) cross head screwdriver if you want to do so at Ocker Hill. And remember to replace the cover after use.
