Actually, being picky beyond belief, no it doesn't. And here's the explanation:

 

The BSS Guide, Section 7 LPG in boats, has a inspection checklist. The first item in the checklist says the installation must comply with BS 5482-3. Online version HERE

Looks like Section 7 deals with the pipework whereas Section 8 deals with the appliances themselves, so possibly it's the installation pipework that must comply with 5482-3, and the appliances aren't in the scope of Section 7.

 

The second linky might help the OP with regard to getting a registered installer to fit a Morco D61.

 

ETA: If the boat will be used for rented accomodation I think there may be a couple of additional restrictions in GSUIR.
