Hi y'all,

I've been looking into ground anchors, I saw some big screws at Midland chandlers that might be what we are after, don't want to start messing round with concrete but need something a bit more secure than pins does anyone have experience of these beasties...are they any good?

Regards,

Ally p.

Yes, I have used them for mooring at the end of my garden.

After screwing three of them into the ground, I dug a 25cm square 10cm deep hole around the top and filled with concrete.

Boat is still there!

HI,

I'm glad you said that cos' I just bought 40 odd quids worth off ebay, meant for marquees 44cms long, look mighty meaty but I'll do the concrete thingy too, good thinking

REgards,
