I detect you think I should have given the exact price I paid - sorry but I am not going to do that as that's personal between me and the two 'suppliers' - each boat will be different and require differing amounts of work and differing amounts of sign writing so I think a ball park figure is something to go on and as at least one of them is a forum member here it would be remiss of me to discuss a business relationship in public; my negotiation skills may be good or bad but that's between the two of us. Apologies if I have read the comment the wrong way.

Seems a cheap job to me.

 

I was quoted for a back to bare metal repaint about two years ago and that was in the 6 to 7 thousand range.

 

By the time I saved for it, it will probably be in the 9 to 10 thousand range.
