No, not on Tidal Thames.. I believe (Teddington to Reading on Thames then onto Kennet and Avon Canal)

 

I'm still confused - I can pick these up for £22 inc delivery...

Again, you DON'T need them!

All you need is a headlight.

The headlight will be run from the start battery but of course when you use the headlight the engine will be running.

 

So as long as the engine starts and runs you will have light.

 

BSS does not come into it.
