TREE HAS FALLEN ACROSS TOWPATH AND CANAL

 

Thursday 8 December 2011 - Thursday 8 December 2011

A tree has fallen across the towpath and canal blocking both the path and navigation.

 

The tree is expected to have been cleared by the end of the day.

 

British Waterways apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

The towpath is also closed

Edited to add that BW have not said where!!! Somewhere between Marple and Kidsgrove presumably.
