Cambridge River Festival

Black Ibis

Featured Posts

Just to warn/inform any boaters heading down Cambridge way that there will be a festival at Jesus Green Lock on Sunday 25th September. See www.camboaters.blogspot.com. There will be lots of residential boats open to curious visitors, various river-based activities, music, art, local food and fun things to do, if that's your cup of tea. Boaters are more than welcome to join in, visit the festival, and double moor below the lock. I expect the area will be busy from Friday 23rd onwards.

mmm, dont know if thats good or bad , wanted to just moor somewhere for the friday..

Although you technically shouldn't, you could moor overnight on Midsummer Common if you can't find a space by Jesus Lock, or at the other visitor mooring by the Fort St. George.

No-one will mind as long as you don't take the mickey and stay for more than a day or so, any more than that starts to grate on us people who pay to moor there! :)
