Boaty Malone
Hi, license fee can be found on British Waterways website and varies on types of licences. There isn't really any laws like on the road, though they are restrictions - try to make rules. Insurance companies, Haven Knox Johnson, Collidge & Partners I think. Theirs quite a few that advertise in Waterways World magazine, it's worth buying. Do your research, boat cost, maintenance, are you going to continuous cruise or moor? You may want to see about a mooring and cost. There is alsorts to look at, have you tried boating before? Regards Terry
sebrof
Read this forum for six months, and book yourself a narrow-boat holiday for a week.
