Well finally got all the funds transferred for Dignity and she will be leaving us on Sunday :(

We're currently getting our replacement boat worked on. So hopefully all being well will have her by the end of April. So boatless at the moment.

Looking forward to getting our 21 year old back with new paintwork windows and a nice new galley, bathroom and new stove gravity fed central heating oh and we've had the tanks removed and had a cassette toilet fitted what rebels we are.

Hi, have been looking at a NB, but she's just not quite right, please do not answer if you don't want to, but what is the cost for your re-fit. Many thanks.

It isn't really a refit sorry if it was misleading. The chap who has the boat is a marine engineer. And he has pretty much stripped out the interior and going to refit it walkthrough style. With new stove etc. It's a 21 year old Colecraft shell. The bonus is we get a say in the kitchen units and tiles etc. Sort of semi bespoke. Going for a repaint the middle of March.

HI, off topic I know, just read your money blog, might have missed it, brain goes bye-bye a lot, but how much for insurance? many thanks.

Depends on the value (and possibly age? use?) of the boat, but ours is about £190 for an insured value of £30k (1980, CCers) with Craftinsure. That includes up to £3k contents insurance (10% of the insured value).
