It depends what you want to do with it, really.

 

Mains wiring can very very simple or horrendously complex.

 

There used to be some useful wiring diagrams on Gibbo's Smartgauge website, however I've just had a brief rummage around and must admit I can't find them at the moment. You might have better luck.

hi,

can you advise what equipment you are looking to run on 230V

 

Would advise on RCD box, with appropriate portable/weather proof connector,

 

from the rcd use artic blue cable to connect a socket.

 

If your planning on running a number of items then a small distribuor panel might be best and allow you to run cables in alogical run and protect them.

 

 

much to read on here re this.. you dont states whether you require an invertor as thats another set of demands re power required etc

i have two inverters one 800 for tv/dvd and the other 2000 watt for power tools. i would like to to switch between shore line and inverts.

Can you give more info on the make of invertors / ratings, current wiring to scokets and how wired to the batteries and how many batterys to give us a few clues on what options you may have.

 

also what is your source of 230 v? marina bollard or?

i have three batteries connected to fuse then on to the red key switch. the live and neutral then go to the live and neutral blocks. the live cables then go through the fuse board. the two silver hook inverters are connected to the large bolts on the blocks. the tv ect are connected directly to the inverters.
