Thhere are many people use the towpaths to cycle to work in London, and not all the towpaths are illuminated. At Kensal Green, just next to the Sainsbury store, there is a bridge over the entrance to the old Gas Works wharf, now filled in. At the east side of this where the towpath starts to rise up the bridge is a black metal barrier designed to slow progress,however, at night this is virtually invisible, and if hit at any speed on a bike, could cause serious damage.

Three days ago, BW painted it white.

Two days ago, London received it's first snowfall.

 

...perhaps they will revert to it's traditional black once Spring comes along

What about black and white stripes like a zebra?
