Boating in style

I was in Aranjuez, south of Madrid, this afternoon, where there is a Royal Barge Museum (Museo de Falúas) Here are a couple of pics I took before the attendant stopped me (rather apologetically, I may say). Not too different from the size of a semi-widebeam:

 

 

 

The first is 18th century, the second a hundred years earlier. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take them out on the river.
