Athy
After it had rained last week I went out to pour the rainwater off the back cover of my Springer. This water normally leaves a greyish-brown muddy residue on the cover; but this time it was reddish-brown in colour. the local soil is not reddish. Would this change of colour be caused by the Icelandic volcano dust in the air?

Natalie Graham
Volcano coloured? I haven't washed my car since I bought it, so I wouldn't notice a bit more dust.
