NB Alnwick
Some time this year, we need to clean out Alnwick's fresh water tank and gas locker and re-paint them with a suitable hard wearing epoxy. This could be done at the same time as we get the hull blacked (which is also epoxy) and we think it would help to protect these areas from future rust if they are shot or sand blasted prior to applying the epoxy. Can anyone suggest or recommend a boat yard or specialist, within a couple a reasonable travelling distance from Cropredy, that can carry out this work? WFBCo (as then was) did our shotblasting down the end of Kayes Arm. Don't know whether they still do it. Might be worth a call to Tim Higton.
