No need to be embarrassed Geoff - you'd only just got your first boat, and i've known much more experienced people mess it up much worse than you did! Besides, if you hadn't bumped into me, you probably wouldn't be on here!

Hope you are still enjoying Crick. I have moved to a farm mooring at Ivinghoe and am extremely satisfied!
