Kabola old english soot scraper

Hi folks, wonder if anybody can help with a question i have concerning my soot scraper on my old english kabola.

Should there be an o ring inside or is it sealed with ptfe tape, any help greatly recieved.

Hi,

 

By 'soot scraper' do you mean the inlet jet cleaner ( small right angled piece of metal which revolves)?.

 

If you want the full details, contact 'Karunda', very helpful and full manual down possible.

 

For general cleaning, I use a wire brush, a hack saw blade and a modified end for the vacum cleaner to get into the area below the flue pipe.

 

Take care not to knock the end off the thermo coupling.
