Scaffolding erected on this bridge on the Soar through Leicester. Work to start Monday, footpath closed, don't know if it will affect boat traffic yet, will advise on Monday of further developments.

Contractors working for Leicester City Council will be carrying out repair works to the brick parapets of the above bridge.

The site will be signed on the upstream and downstream approaches.

 

There are no delays envisaged during the works.

 

Boaters are requested to approach the site with care and obey any instructions given. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this operation.
