Witham drains mooring

hi all,

 

me and the wife are very interested in buying a house that is on the frith bank with the garden going down to the water... there are fishing rights and landing stages but wondered if its possible for us to get permission to moor a boat there aswell.... does anyone know if this will be possible?

 

any help would be great...

It depends where it is and who's waterway its on. IF you can give us more of an indication we can tell you.

it is on the frith drain about a quarter of a mile from pauls bridge ( i think thats what its called) .... i think the waterway belongs to the EA but not totally sure...... thanks

The navigable drains are the drainage board navigation not EA. The LWP are trying to get round to doing a full survey on them (hopefully to get them cleaned out that weed and sludge not rubbish)
