Leicester Riverside Festival

Down the years I've always enjoyed the Riverside festivals in Leicester. Last year was glorious with over 14,000 people attending for free and something for everyone - really!

 

But wet weather forecasts are aiming to spoil it but it should be dryand even sunny by 3pm each day so if you are planning to come make it later in the day and it it will be worth your while - free parking on the streets to the west of the Soar.

Went past yesterday going downstream, seemed to be plenty of boats there and passed some lovely Norfolk Cruisers etc heading towards there. We would have stayed but needed to be in Nottingham early next week to pick up Whisper generator. Hope you have a good one.

We had a great day better than I thought after listening to the rain on the roof all night.

 

 

Less people than last year which means more time to talk to those who have come.

 

 

We shall still be here tomorrow and hope for a slightly warmer day.
