Hi Everyone its me again,

I am getting no replys to my question regarding the height of a dawncraft 25 with the folding roof, up from the suface of the water to top of cockpit roof.

I want if possible to navigate the middle levels without folding the roof down, its dam heavy and I am single handed, firstly what is the air draght height? and is there a correct way to sequence lower this heavy roof onto the cabin roof? and then worse pull it back into locking position again, having already suffered a hernia I am quite worried

Sorry don't know the air draught. We used to find that it took two people to comfortable lower the cockpit roof, or "flying bridge" as my late dad used to call it.

Hi, why dont you measure it? I was unsure of my air draft so took a length of wood placed it on the highest point, got it level using a spirit level and got a mate to measure from the wood to the waterline Da Dah!!!!

sounds stupid I know but I am just a single guy and the boat is quite a way from where i live. I was hoping somebody would have the information, bearing in mind I am going through the middle levels towards the R Nene

Try to find a bridge with a six foot airdraft and navigate through it.

If you fail, the boat has an airdraft too high.

And if you make it dont assume you will make the next 6ft bridge the water levels may be different.
