This boat is built in 91/92 by m and m boat builders, please does anyone know where they went. It is unusual in that it has a 1 foot extra length on the trad stern. This was pointed out by the seller

M&N Narrowboats were a two man company building boats in New Ollerton Newark Nottinghamshire

But a firm called M&M Boatbuilderrs is still listed on 192.com

I believe the OP means the rear deck is extended by a foot. Was not unusual arrangement to see on some BCN area working tugs.

I believe they were boat fitters. IIRC they were a spin off of staff who previously worked at R&D on the same industrial estate.
