Recipes for a coal stove

I've looked on the internet, which turned up jack-all , and wondered if anyone had any old recipes?

Nothing is to complicated for me; and I'm not to fussy either, so all ideas welcome!

I'd have thought the 'slow cooker' or 'crock pot' style recipe books would suffice. Being close to the banks of the Mersey, we've always got a pan of 'day old' scouse on the simmer! Good luck with your hunting!

Yep I do loads of slow cook meals on mine Stews, casaroles etc.

Also chicken breasts or fish in foil. Baked potatoes as they are no foil or anything just put next to the chimney. I've also done drop scones and bread.

 

I've yet to use a recipie book but just treat it like either a low oven or a low hob top.
