Rivers Posted February 4, 2009 Report Share Posted February 4, 2009 Hi i was talking to a friend last night about mooring in the country side and she told me that 3yrs ago they were given a summer mooring just like a winter mooring,has anyone else heard of this i know i havent. In Boston for example, the only narrowboat-friendly 48 hour moorings are let out on summer moorings (and not available in the winter of course) which maked the concept of "48 hour" seem somehat redundant Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I suppose they could have found a marina that had space for them for that time? You could argue that I had a 'summer mooring' when I left her for a month at a BWML marina last July.
